How the ADLS works:
- Drums are supplied by pallet to the infeed area.
- Using vision technology, the exact location of the drum is determined, allowing it to be picked up by robot.
- It is possible to scan the drum so that the system can log which drums are present in the system or have been processed.
- The drum is moved by robot to the set-up location and put away.
- The robot is ready to place the next drum on the roller conveyor.
